Municipal House of Culture Julio Reyes Cairo

The building that occupies the current Casa de Cultura Julio Reyes Cairo was before 1959 the Spanish Casino in the city, which opened on December 21, 1930. After 1959 it was the headquarters of the Student House, Palace of Marriages and since 2008 Julio Reyes Cairo House of Culture.

It consists of two floors and there are classrooms for dance, music and theater events, as well as an exhibition hall for plastic arts. It also has a lounge for presentations of artistic shows.

It is identified as a heritage site.

The building that occupies this institution was before 1959 the Society "The New Aurora", of people of color. It was inaugurated as Casa de Cultura on April 4, 1980.

Julián Sánchez House of Culture of San José de los Ramos

The building of this institution was before 1959 the Liceo Society. After the revolutionary triumph, Jorge Armegol worked as Social Worker Circle. It was inaugurated as Casa de Cultura Julián Sánchez on January 16, 1980.

Carmelo González Plastic Arts Workshop (belonging to the Municipal Culture House) 

Address: Ricardo Trujillo # 4 corner to Camilo Cienfuegos. 

The building where this institution is located was the Liceo de Colón Society, which was inaugurated on August 29, 1926. After the Triumph of the Revolution, it became the Julio Reyes Cairo Workers' Social Circle. It was inaugurated on February 23, 1977 as Casa de Cultura Julio Reyes Cairo until in 2008 it moved to the place where it is today, an old Spanish Casino that opened on December 21, 1930. As a Municipal Workshop of Plastic Arts It was inaugurated on March 5, 2014. It is a heritage site.
