Minor card

Birth registration: Procedure carried out within a year of birth. The Minor Card will be requested at the hospital where the act of birth occurs, for this the model made by the Civil Registry official will be used, where the data regarding the birth are recorded, It will be noted as the minor's official address and Registry, the one that appears in the mother's identity document. Failing that (deceased), that of the father or legal guardian will be recorded.

Registration of birth out of date: This procedure is carried out whenever the minor is between the ages of one year and up to 16 years of age, the application can be made at the municipal procedures offices.

Identity procedures for minors can be carried out from any Paperwork Office in the country, regardless of the place of residence, except for changes of address, which must be formalized in Paperwork Offices of the province where the home is located.

Requirements for the Minor Card procedures:

• Physical presence of the father, mother or legal guardian.
• Minor Card subject to change, except for the reason for Loss.
• Birth certificate for the error correction process.
• 1 photo size 4x5 cm. for the photo update from the age of 12.

Duration time:

The delivery of the Child's Card requested at the hospital must be made before 72 hours after the birth.

The delivery of the Minor Card requested in the Municipal processing units must be made on the day.
