Historically, they have cultivated love for the Homeland and respect for its heroes, for which reason they pay tribute each year to the founders of the Cuban nation and Masons José Martí, Céspedes, Antonio Maceo, Agramonte and Máximo Gómez; in addition to instilling in the Society of Young Hope of the Fraternity (Ajefistas) the love of nature, the practice of sports and the operation of music bands.

They are locally represented by the Sons of the Temple Lodge. Masonic Order of the town of Banagüises. The women are integrated into the Daughters of Acacia Lodge No. 54, Rebekah Daughters of Guanabacoa No. 100 of the Grand Lodge of Cuba of the Independent Order of Odd Fellows, and the Lodge of Home Priestesses Fraternity 31 of the Grand Lodge from Cuba of the Knights of Light Order.
